Motor FAQs

1.What kind of brush is used in the motor?

There are two Knd brushes that we normaly use n motor the metal brush and carbon brush. We choose based on Speed, Curent, and fetime requitements For qutesmal motors, we only have metal brushes while for big ones we oniy have carbon brushes.Compared with metal brushes, the lfetime of carbon brushes are longer sinceit will reduce the wear on the commutator.

2. What are the noise levels of your motors and do you have very quiet ones?

Nomaly we deine the noselevel (B) based on the back ground noise and mesure distance. There are two knd noses; mecharical noise and electrical noise. For theformer it's related to the Speed and motor parts. For the latter, its mainy related to the sparks caused by the friction between the brushes and commutator There is noquiet motor (without any noise) and only difference is the dB value.

3. Could you offer price list?

For allof our motors, they are customized based on diferentrequrements ike lfetime, nolse Votage and shat ate. The prce also vares accorcdng to annua quantty Soits realy dificut for us to provide a price list. If you can share your detailed requirements and annual quantity, well see what offer we can provide.

4. Would you mind sending the quotation for this motor?

For all of our motors, they are customized based on diferent requrements. We willofer the quotation soon ater you send your spectc requests and anual quanty.

5. What's the lead time for samples or mass production?

Nomaly, itakes 15-25 days to produce samples about mass proucton, twil take 35-40 days for DC motor production and 45-60 days for gear motor production.

6. How much should I pay for samples?

For low cos samples wth quantty no more than 5pcs, we can provde them for free wih feight paid by buyer (f cients can provide ther courier account or arRangecourer to pick them up from our company, t be okay with us).And for others, wel charge sample cost and frelght. ts not our amto earnmoney by charging samplesIf it matters, we can make a refund once got the initial order.

7. Is it possible to visit our factory?

Sure. But please kindly keep us posted a few days in advance. We need to check our schedule to see if we are available then.
8. Is there an exact lifetime for the motor?

lam afraid not. Thelifetime varies lot for diferent Models, materials, and Operating conditions ike temp. humidity, duty cycle, input power, and how the motor or gearmotor s coupled to the load. ete. And the fetme we nomaly mentoned s the time when the motor rotates without ay stop and the Curent, Sped.and Torque changeIs wthin +/-30% of the inital value. I you can specity the detaled requirements and working conditons, wel make our evaluation to see which one willbe suitabletomeet your needs.

9. Do you have any subsidiary or agent here?

We dont have any subsidiary oversea but we wil consider that in the furure. We are aways interested n co0perathg wth any wordwide company or indvidua who would be willing to be our local agents to serve our customers more closely and efficiently.

10. What kind of parameter information should be provided to get a DC motor evaluated?

we know, dferent shapes determine the sze of the space, which means that dferent skes can achieve performance such as dferent Torque values. Performanceequirementincudes workng Voltage, rated oad, and rated Speed, while the shape requirement ncludes the maximum sze of the inStalaton, out shar skze, and thedirection of the terminal.
If the ustomer has thermore detalled requirements, such as Curent init, working envionment, service life requrements, EMC requirements, etc, we can also provideamore detailed and accurate evaluation together.

Micro Reduction Motor Features

Micro reduction motor features:

1. In no AC place with batteries can also be used.

2. Simple reducer, adjust the deceleration ratio, can be used for deceleration.

3. The speed range is large, the torque is large.

4. The number of turns, if needed, can be customized according to actual needs.Micro deceleration motor can atso be designed accordng to the speclal requirements of customers, dferent shar, speed ratio of the motor, not ony let customersimprove the efficiency of the work, but also save a lot of costs.

Brushed Motors and Brushless Motors

Brushed Motors

These re the traditional variety of DC motors which are used for basc applications where there is a very simple contol system. These are used in consumer applcatonsand basic industrial applications. These are classified into four types:
1. Series Wound

2. Shunt Wound

3. Compound Wound

4. Permanent Magnet

Iin the series wound DC motors, the rotor winding s conected in series with the field winding. Varying the supply yoltage wil help in contoling the sped. These are usedin lifts, cranes, and hoists, etc.

In the shunt wound DC motors, the rotor winding s connected in paralle with the feld wndng. It can deliver higher torgue without any recuction in the speed andincreases the motor curent. Due to its medium level of starting torque along with constant speed, itis used in conveyors, grinders, vacuum cleaners, etc

In the compound wound DC motors, the polarity of the shunt winding gets added to that of the series felds. It has a high starting torque and runs smoothly even if theload varies smoothly. This is used in elevators, circular saws, centrifugal pumps, etc.

Permanent magnet as the name suggests are used for precise control and lower torque such as robotics.

Brushless Motors

These motors have a simpler design and have a higher lfe span when used in higher applications. This has lile maintenance and high ficdeny. These ypes ofmotorsare used in appliances that use speed and position control such as fans, compressors, and pumps.
